Pride and Prejudice

When I met with the elected board from Nipmuc Drama prior to this weekend's performance of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, I asked them about the highlights of their production. In sharing their thoughts about the play, they were quick to tell me about the strength of the characters. They assured me that all of the audience members could find a character that they could laugh with and be captivated by. Whether considering "sweet Jane," "stubborn Elizabeth," or "arrogant D'Arcy," the audience certainly enjoyed the chance to get caught up in the romance, comedy, and personalities that bring this story to life.

Congratulations to Director Elizabeth McCarthy and the Nipmuc Drama Guild for a production that drew the audience into the story of virtue, aspirations, social pressures, and relationships. Bravo!
