Calendar of Events/School Picture Day

Good afternoon,
I hope everyone had a great first week of school. It was wonderful to have our students back with us this week.

To help with your planning, attached you will find the Nipmuc events calendar for the 2013-2014 school year.  You can also find events posted on the calendar on the Nipmuc web page.  In addition, the sports schedule can be found at dualvalleyconference.org or under the athletics tab on the Nipmuc web page.

Please note that school picture day is scheduled for Friday, September 6th.  All students are required to have their photo taken for complimentary school I.D. purposes.  If you wish to purchase a photo package, you must submit an order form with payment at the time the photo is taken.  Forms can be picked up in the Nipmuc Media Center prior to September 6th.

First Day of School: Student Schedules

Good afternoon,
We are looking forward to welcoming all of our students back to school tomorrow. Our teachers have been working hard in preparation for your arrival. We're excited to have students back with us in the morning.

As students arrive in the building, they will be asked to pick up their schedules for the 2013-14 school year. Schedules can be found in the following locations:
Freshmen - Auditorium
Sophomores - Cafeteria
Juniors and Seniors - Gym

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Fall Athletics/Cheerleading

The fall athletic season is nearly ready to begin. According to MIAA guidelines, the first date for football practice is August 19. All other fall sports will begin practicing on August 22. The schedule for practices will be posted on the Nipmuc Athletics website which can be accessed by clicking here. Additionally, the fall practice schedule is posted below.

Fall cheerleading will also begin on August 22. I am happy to announce that Christine Comfort will be coaching the team this year. Coach Comfort will hold cheerleading try-outs on August 22 & 23 from 6pm - 8pm in the main gym at Miscoe Hill. A parent meeting will be held on August 20 at 7pm in the Nipmuc auditorium. 

Athletic fees for fall sports will remain the same as last year:

Football: $425

Soccer & Field Hockey: $375

Cross Country: $325

The fee for cheerleading will be determined shortly. 

Fee reduction for three-sport athletes: 

Please be aware that student-athletes who participate in three sports will have the fee for their spring sport reduced by 50%.

9th Grade and New Student Orientation
